Synopsis:
Apollo 11, an American documentary film, adds a new life to the languishing, boxed up, archived, and forgotten hyper-detail 70mm footage of the historic mission. The Apollo 11 spacecraft took its flight in 1969 from the earth and landed moon making Neil Armstrong the first man to land on moon accompanied by pilot Douglas Miller. Unlike the earlier movies based on the mission, this one contained the original footage with some music and occasional diagram instead of adding any recreations, cutaway interviews, and narration. Released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the mission, the movie presents the pivotal points of the journey covering the lift-up, landing, reconnecting, and returning to Earth.
