Synopsis:
Damsel is an upcoming American drama and comedy film directed by David Zellner and written by Nathan Zellner that happens to be the story of Samuel Alabaster and Penelope. Samuel Alabaster is a prosperous pianist who ventures beyond the American frontier to unite with his only love Penelope. Samuel starts this journey with a drunkard Henry and a tiny horse named butterscotch, this straight ward journey turns deceitful, making a difference between hero, villain and damsel. This film is a beautiful recreation of the western genre by the Zellner brothers that show their sense of humor and distinct brand of humanism.
