Synopsis:
Mary Queen of Scots is a historical drama film based on John Guy’s biography of Mary Stuart, who is Queen of France and sister of England’s Queen Elizabeth as well as her rival to the throne. The movie focuses on the chronicles of conflicts between the 2 countries that happened in 1569. Mary got crowned as France’s queen at the age of 16 and became a widow after 2 years. Though the pressure to remarry followed her, she chose to move to Scotland and challenge her sister for the throne. The film visualizes the betrayal, rebellion, and conspiracies surrounding the sisters and the consequences that followed.
