Synopsis:
Miss Bala is an American action drama movie that is the English remake of the Spanish-language film by the same name. The movie visualizes the struggle faced by a Los Angeles-based makeup artist in Mexico. Gloria visits Mexico to meet her friend Suzu who goes missing on one fine day. Learning of this, Gloria starts searching for her with an aim to rescue her but gets caught in a drug cartel’s nest. Though she is forced to smuggle laundered money across the border, she learns of her hidden powers. How she puts her newly learnt skills to use for survival and escape forms the rest of the story.
