Synopsis:
Project Hail Mary is a science-fiction story set in the near future. It follows Ryland Grace, played by Ryan Gosling, a school teacher who wakes up alone on a spaceship with no memory of who he is or why he is there. Slowly, his memories return, and he realizes he is on a mission far away from Earth to save the Sun from a dangerous space organism called Astrophage, which is slowly destroying it. During his journey, he meets an alien named Rocky, whose planet is also in danger. Even though they are very different, they become friends and work together to save both of their worlds.
The film is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, and written by Drew Goddard, based on the novel by Andy Weir. The cast also includes Sandra Hüller, Lionel Boyce, and Milana Vayntrub. The movie is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Amy Pascal, with music by Shashwat Sachdev and cinematography by Greig Fraser, making it a visually exciting and emotional space adventure.
