Synopsis:
Spider-Noir is a dark superhero detective series set in New York during the 1930s. The story follows Ben Reilly, played by Nicolas Cage, a tired private detective who once protected the city as a masked hero known as “The Spider.” After the tragic death of his fiancée Ruby, Ben gives up his superhero life and spends his days solving small cases. Everything changes when a nightclub singer named Cat Hardy, played by Li Jun Li, asks for his help in finding a missing person. As Ben investigates, he uncovers a dangerous conspiracy involving criminals, corrupt politicians, and powerful enemies. To save the city, he must become Spider-Noir once again and face the painful memories of his past.
The series is created by Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot. It is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, with executive producers Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal. The cast also includes Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Jack Huston, and Karen Rodriguez. The show combines mystery, action, and classic noir style with a dark superhero story.
