5 Weddings (2018)

Synopsis:

5 Weddings is an Indian-American film based on an American journalist’s visit to India to explore the weddings as they are performed there. Initially thought of being a spy, she is accompanied on her research trip by a perfect English-speaking police officer, Officer Harbhajan Singh. Apart from the happy face of Indian weddings, she also discovers a variety of cultural clashes along with the transgender community and a series of incidents that change her role into an investigative journalist. The movie adds a romantic touch when the journalist, Shania Dhaliwal, and the cop Harbhajan fall in love with each other with the former ending up feeling hurt.
