Synopsis:
Fallout is set 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse in an alternate version of Los Angeles. The story follows three very different survivors whose lives slowly come together. Lucy MacLean is a kind and hopeful Vault Dweller who leaves her underground shelter for the first time to rescue her kidnapped father. On the dangerous surface, she meets Maximus, a young and loyal soldier from the powerful Brotherhood of Steel, and The Ghoul, a hardened mutant bounty hunter with a dark past connected to the world before the bombs fell. As they travel through the wasteland, they face violent factions, strange creatures, and the harsh reality of life outside the vaults.
In Season 2, which premiered on December 16, 2025, the story moves to the lawless desert city of New Vegas. The journey becomes more dangerous as the characters fight to control a powerful new technology that could change the future of the wasteland. Legendary figures like Mr. House enter the story, and hidden corporate secrets about the end of the world begin to surface. Created by Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, the series is executive produced by Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Todd Howard, and Athena Wickham, with music by Ramin Djawadi. The main cast includes Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, and Justin Theroux, bringing this dark, emotional world to life.
