Synopsis:
Invincible is an animated superhero series that follows a teenage boy named Mark Grayson, whose father is the world’s most powerful hero, Omni-Man. At first, Mark is a normal high-school student, but everything changes when he finally gains his own powers. As he trains to become a hero, he discovers that being “invincible” is not as easy as it sounds. The story becomes darker when Mark learns a terrible truth about his father and the real mission of Omni-Man’s alien race, the Viltrumites. Mark must face dangerous villains, protect innocent people, and decide what kind of hero he wants to be, even when the world around him becomes violent and unpredictable.
The show is based on the comic series by Robert Kirkman, who also serves as a writer and executive producer. Other producers include Catherine Winder, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg. Different episodes are directed by several directors, including Jeff Allen and Paul Furminger. The voice cast includes Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson, J.K. Simmons as Omni-Man, Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson, Zazie Beetz as Amber, Walton Goggins as Cecil, and Gillian Jacobs as Atom Eve.
