Kapatadhaari (2021)

Synopsis:

Kapatadhaari, an Indian neo-noir thriller movie in the Telugu language, is a remake of the 2019-film Kavaludaari, a Kannada film. Gowtham is working as a traffic sub-inspector but wants to work in the crime department. To fulfill his desire, he takes up a 40-year-old case, reopening the files to find the real culprit. However, the case doesn’t fall under his jurisdiction, and that’s just one of the many problems he faces throughout. Others include hassles put forward by parties involved in the case, fearing being uncovered and punished. Will working on this case help Gowtham get an entry and promotion to the crime department?
