Synopsis:
Mimi, an Indian comedy-drama film, is based on the concept of surrogacy when an American couple approaches a local dancer in Rajasthan for giving birth to their baby. Mimi aspires of achieving Bollywood stardom but lacks the required financial support. When Summer and John approach her with an offer of Rs. 20 lakhs, she hesitates first and then agrees. After getting pregnant through an IVF treatment, she moves to her friend’s house with Bhanu, a local driver to avoid her parents from finding out about her pregnancy. Trouble begins when the American couple quits over finding the child’s Down syndrome condition. Will Mimi drop the child or continue the pregnancy?
