Synopsis:
Pushpa: The Rise, an Indian action thriller film, is the first part of a 2-part Telugu story. It follows Pushpa Raj, a lorry driver involved in the smuggling of sandalwood. Set up in the Rayalseema’s Seshachalam Hills in Andhra Pradesh, the region’s forests are touted to be the only place where red sandalwood is found. This, in addition to the red color, makes this wood highly valuable and some big parties are involved too. However, police are trying to nab the smugglers and have made multiple attempts for the same. But the boss, Pushpa tackles through all the challenges to grow up the ladder in this illegal business.
