Synopsis:
The Aeronauts, an American biographical adventure movie is a story of a record-breaking discovery made by a scientist and a pilot, up high in thin air. In 1862, scientist James Glaisher and wealthy young widow Amelia Wren team up to advance the weather knowledge humans had by mounting a balloon expedition to a height no one ever rose in history. Their voyage to the very edge of existence helps the unlikely pair make a notable place for themselves, breaking records of the world that they have left far below. However, as their perilous ascent reduces the chances of survival, the thin air causes emotional and physical challenges.
