Synopsis:
Bigil, an Indian Tamil-language sports action film is the story of a Chennai-based don-turned football coach of Tamil Nadu’s women football team. Kathir, the present coach and a friend of the don Michael, is attacked by the rival don Daniel hurting his spine. He then recommends Michael for the position for his past as a football player but things like this don’t come easy. Michael is opposed to the position, first by the management and then by the team, due to his criminal record. Will Michael be able to convince all and take over his role as the team coach? How far will the team grow under his guidance despite challenges thrown by Don Daniel and the federation president Mr. Sharma forms the rest of the story?
