Child’s Play (2019)

Synopsis:

Child’s Play, an American slasher film, follows a plot similar to that of the 1988 film of the same name in the form of a contemporary remake. Andy Barclay, on moving to a new city with his mother Karen, receives a new toy doll as his birthday gift. Unaware of its sinister nature, Andy makes the doll his best friend. Things turn bad when Andy realizes about the Buddi doll taking a life on its own. While Andy sets upon a task to prevent the doll from causing bloody havoc, he teams up with other children from the neighborhood. Whether he stops the doll or falls prey to the bloody menace forms the rest of the story.
