Just Mercy (2020)

Synopsis:

Just Mercy, an American legal drama film, is the story of a renowned civil rights lawyer and his quest to help the wrongly condemned ones. Bryan Stevenson is a young defense lawyer who has got numerous job offers for his skills but chooses to move to Alabama instead. In his quest to free those who have been convicted by law due to lack of proper representation, he gets to handle the case of Walter McMillan who was sentenced to death for murdering an 18-year-old girl. In his murder conviction appeal of this case, he must continue fighting despite political and legal maneuverings as well as racism.
