Synopsis:
Midsommar, an American folk horror movie, revolves around a couple that plans to go on a vacation post troubles in their relationship. The couple, Christian and Dani, plan a trip to Sweden with friends, Mark and Josh, to attend a festival that happens once after every 90 years. To their surprise, the vacation that started off as a pastoral paradise soon turned into a dread-soaked nightmare when the visitors learn about disturbing and violent pagan rules of the festival. While they feel trapped by the terrifying agenda of the locals, whether the group manages to survive or fall prey to the festival’s dark side forms the rest of the story.
