Mission Mangal (2019)

Synopsis:

Mission Mangal, an Indian science fiction drama film, is loosely based on what happened before ISRO completed India’s first interplanetary expedition. ISRO achieved the feat in 2013 when they launched the first space orbiter under their Mars Orbiter Mission (also known as Mangalyaan) on 5 November. The story collects various events and efforts of scientists at ISRO who worked together to make the extraordinary thing happen by overcoming their personal and professional tribulations. The space probe is successfully orbiting Mars since 24 September 2014. Watch the movie to walk-through a number of events as they happened in and before 2013 and know the scientists who were dedicated to accomplishing it.
