Synopsis:

Purashpur, an Indian period drama series, is a Zee5 original web series set against the backdrop of the 16th century. It follows Maharaja Bhadrapratap, who is a lecherous and misogynist king known to treat women like objects and to marry multiple times to fulfill his lust. Meanwhile, his wife, Queen Meerwati, plots up a strategy to take over the king, for which she joins hands with Purashpur’s enemies.
