Synopsis:
West Side Story, an American musical romantic drama movie, follows the love story of individuals belonging to rival gangs. Jets and Sharks have been rivaling for a long time over control of the San Juan Hill on the west side of Manhattan. In 1957, at a high school dance, Tony (Jet leader Riff’s friend) and Maria (Shark leader Bernardo’s sister) fall in love. While the only thing they want is an end to the rivalry and a peaceful life filled with love, the romance further fuels the rivalry. Will they separate over the rivalry, find a way to end the war, or elope away from their families and friends?
